The challenge
Where they started
Krafton's plant was losing production hours to inbound congestion. Trailers arrived unscheduled, parts were delivered to a yard and re-sorted by plant staff, and a single late component could idle the line at a cost measured in thousands per minute.
What we did
The work
We took over inbound scheduling with dock booking slots, moved to just-in-sequence delivery direct to line-side locations, and introduced closed-loop returnable packaging. Suppliers now book against the production plan, and exceptions escalate before they become stoppages.
“Our line runs to a plan now rather than to whatever turns up at the gate. That is the whole difference.”
